No kidding. As soon as I accepted an invitation from someone I don't know, I'd get an email with their sales pitch. Most of these are web designers and "get your site listed on the top pages of Google" types. I finally stopped accepting invites from people from those occupations. But then LinkIn keeps email nagging that you haven't accepted an invitation. I'm thinking of quitting LinkIn. I don't use it anyway... for anything.
