I raise these mealworms for my chickens. They eat three stages - Larva, Pupa, and the adult Beetle (probably tastes like french fries to them) My mealworms eat cardboard, paper, and Styrofoam. I haven't tried PVC or plastic bags yet, but that'll be next.
